Findlay Irvine were selected by Network Rail to provide an Land Slide monitoring system to alert train operations of a potential slip that could affect train traffic. Findlay Irvine developed a system with the key part being a tilt sensor which makes use of IQRF technology.
Approximately 7000 tilt sensors have been installed over 180 sites in the UK as part of pilot project to demonstrate the technology.
The goal of the IQRF Summit 2019 is to practically demonstrate strengths and benefits of IQRF products and solutions, set up
new business partnerships, enable new projects and enlarge the community around the IQRF Alliance.
"I've been to many IoT conferences but everywhere it was about "slide-ware" promising billions of devices in 2025.
The IQRF Conference 2016 was different. It was about many real IoT solutions, case studies, best practices and deployments
that I can use in my business right away."
We have got many feedbacks like that so we have a clear idea about the concept of the IQRF Summit 2018:
The IQRF Summit will be full of straight-to-the-point presentations, practical demonstrations of IoT products and solutions,
interactive workshops and a busy market place.
We expect top speakers from the IQRF Alliance Members such as Zyxel, AAEON or IQRF Tech as well as from closely
cooperating companies such as Microsoft, IBM or Intel.
We expect around 300 IoT professionals (CEOs, CTOs, developers, project managers) and private, public and industrial users
from all over the Europe. The event is designed to provide number of networking opportunities for speakers, exhibitors and visitors.
IQRF Alliance and distributor meetings
IQRF Alliance members will meet one day before the conference (June 6th, hosted by Microsoft) to discuss an Alliance strategy, marketing plan
and technical development. This will enable to communicate hot news to the community right away.
